Tell someone like your CO about being put in CL again. I would rather have a cadet tell be that there is something wrong with doing a course twice than a cadet who keeps quiet and accepts an obvious error.
A good friend of mine also went the basic route in high school, and he had trouble getting his transcripts. I told him to just go to the Ontario high school board and request an updated transcript. He received it and is now scheduled to write his CFAT in about 7 days from now.

Take Inspir's advice. Most people have a first year university average 10% lower than their final year of high school. I went to RMC and then University College at the University of Toronto, and they were worlds apart from high school.
Don't go to Asthabasca U just because it's a solution to crappy grades. AU is still a university, and although it's not the best school in Canada, it's not going to be a cake-walk either. But if you really want to be an officer, try AU. See what happens... you never know.
The waiting time involved in the recruiting process is very long. I applied in October 2005, and I start BOTC in January 2007. I want to work in the Forces badly enough to wait, but I honestly don't see many people sticking it through the slow recruiting process with so many civilian jobs...
