    Application Process plz help

Mine and a friends medical took about 2 weeks to get back to the CFRC recently, afterwards if all is good you get merit-listed and depending on your trade of choice and ranking you should eventually get an offer. I would call after the 2 weeks for an update, if it's not back yet call back after...

    Strange Application

I recently went through the application process and a passport was never required. They should have made you bring the birth certificate when you first handed in your application. Documents: - Birth certificate (and those of your family members, if applicable) - Citizenship card (if applicable)...

Well it depends on a lot of things. If it's your medical file that is left to be reviewed that should take 2-3 weeks or so. After all of your information is cleared then you get Merit Listed and depending on your trade it may have to go to a National Selection Board which could be very short if...

Yes, direct entry is what I was referring to. It's a trial that's being run taking a few people a year and see if it works well.

From what I've heard they take 6 NCM INT OPS a year, and yes you go through BMQ. There were 1 or 2 spots left for this trade as of last week, otherwise your looking at April 2010 for new spots to open unless you agree to a different trade.

    October 2009 BMQ

From what I've seen and heard the first week is mainly instruction, getting your gear kits, and the CF Express Test for fitness. If you want a more visual aid I suggest watching Basic Up, it follows 5 people through BMQ from start to finish. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fl6kVmGDQVk

    MrJimi's recruitment story................

Good luck to you. Just don't drink coffee beforehand or high b/p and heartrate will force you to go to a doctor and delay it further. I'm just used to drinking it and didn't even think about it and that happened to me.
