I'll admit it, I'm a John Lennon fan. All disagreements with his politics aside, I really like John Lennon as a person and an artist.
Last night I picked up a CD called "Working Class Hero: The Definitive Lennon" and it pretty much covers all of his music, it's a double CD and it pretty much nullified any need for all of the other CDs of his I have. It was 19.99 which is a great price considering the music you have, and I would reccomend it to anyone looking for a present for a beatles/lennon fan.
